Why Can’t People Keep Everything Real While Blogging

This is a question to be asked to every blogger who is striving to get some mojo using unauthentic methods.
Blogging has come a long way and people are yet to discover the real truth about blogging. It wouldn’t wrong to say that every blogger has a style worth following.
But people are taking it otherwise and ruining the fun of this blogosphere. In order to maintain the fake reputation, bloggers are trying to deceive their readers.
“Everyone considers himself/herself as a blogger and yet no one is.”
Why can’t people keep everything real while Blogging? Every time I read an article, the quality of the content keeps digging deep inside me about the manipulation techniques people have adopted.
Is This Blogosphere Producing Mediocre or Professionals
The meaning of professional blogging has been depicted and the concept of only writing has taken into consideration.
From a one-month-old writer to a person who has devoted 10 years to this blogosphere, everyone is considered as the same.
Why is that so? It’s not about generalizing anyone or criticizing. It’s about providing the quality.
How can you expect a newbie to challenge the professional just because they want some attention? And the worst part is that people allow them.

Don’t you analyze how newbies are flooding the irrelevant topics around this blogosphere?
Blogging is about sharing your real experience which can be an inspiration to others. You should use your conventional methods to allure your readers with something unique.
New bloggers, new readers, a new era of blogging, with this new blogging revolution, people are adapting the wrong career direction.
“Money making blogging has spoiled the concept of quality blogging.”
This is the naked truth of today’s era of blogging. Sometimes, I feel so sad for the people who are following the misleading guides and going nowhere.
And the worst part is the blame we professional are given.
I remember the days I used to strive for finding a blogging guide to curate a content which can stand. I have failed many times and still do.

Do you have that special power? Do you have the willpower to cross all the barriers?
The Reason Behind Adapting Such Wrong Formulas.
The pressure of competition and the urge to lead may be something I would consider the reasons for all the lies and manipulative blogging.
Let me ask you a simple question.
Can you build your blogging career with an approach worth inspiring?
What would be your answer?
If I have to speak at your place then I would say only one thing.
Blogging isn’t just about writing it’s about teaching, exploring, enjoying, accepting challenges, showing your true self and much more.
I am sorry to say but around 60% of the bloggers are writing only to make a few penny.
Somewhere the concept of money making blogging has spoiled the actual blogging which used to be a few years ago.
One of the biggest reasons is the income report people show. It’s somehow putting the negative impact on newbies.
Though the concept may inspire many to work hard, this young generation concentrates more on making money instead of satisfying their readers.
Can People Keep Everything Real While Blogging Even After Many Failures
I always think about the future of blogging and how this is going to affect the next blogging generation.
It may seem to be funny to many but the concept is so serious to get discussed. What do millennials need to follow?
Should it be a bunch of mediocre or a group of professionals who care about their readers?
Just a few days ago, I was engaging in a Twitter chat where people were discussing the benefits of on-page SEO. I was burst into tears when someone correlated the concept with the web hosting server.
The original SEO tips for beginners include the use of interlinking, better heading tags, proper use of keywords and more.
And everyone was yeah, you’re right. How come I not thought about it?
Fortunately, someone told them about the real concept and provided a guide to be followed.
I mean the concepts of the blogging, SEO, web hosting, make money online, social media etc are totally different yet connected.
What do you think now? Can people keep everything real while blogging? Do you see blogging as a career around these manipulative guides?

Frankly speaking, I do agree with every point you’ve mentioned. Some of the well-known blogger, as well as noobs, start faking about their achievements and success journeys so as to get more followers and exposure.
While I may not be 100% authentic, I try my best to provide original reports only.

Well said, my friend. I have to admit when I see those income reports they make me cringe. I wonder (1) if they are lying; (2) do they have a life outside of their blog; (3) if it’s true, how are they getting people to buy? I try to be 100% myself minus my trucker mouth. ? The blogosphere, IMO, isn’t for curse words (especially foul ones). However, in my content, I try to come across as real and as compassionate as possible. I even share bits of my life in my posts now. I find people can relate more by doing so, and I sure don’t want to come across sounding like a phony bologna head. ?
A great read. More people need to be authentic and quit posing something they arent.

I am not against the people who show their income report. It’s actually a good thing. People are growing what else do we need.
But the thing is newbies are taking it otherwise and focusing only on money having an urge to be millionaires.
Authenticity is the best you can provide.

Hi Ravi,
Great eye opener and as a new blogger myself, I have to agree that it’s easier to blog and share stories that pertain to myself. It seems like there are already blogs about pretty much anything you can think about.
However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t enter a niche if someone is already blogging about it. I think those bloggers that share their personal stories or find ways to intwine personal stories make for a great read.
While I don’t consider myself a professional by no means, I am always a student. I think it’s important to follow 2-5 bloggers who keep it real. While we would love to make money right out the gate.
From my personal experience, it takes a lot of work to get to that point. However, it is possible, you just have to ignore all those bloggers online who say it can happen overnight.
We know the truth. It is possible, but it’s going to take time. As long as you’re persistent with your blogging and sharing valuable content and are authentic, personally, I don’t see why someone couldn’t succeed online.
The take away, don’t believe everything you read online about making money.

We should always keep learning. Everyone is spreading his/her own words but it’s up to whether you take it for granted or not.
Not everyone is providing the original guides. Just a few days ago, when I wrote an article about the WPEngine affiliate program, someone messaged me that he is making 20 to 30 sales a month easily.
I mean seriously, this is one of the biggest jokes I have ever received. People should think before they speak.
Flaunting isn’t what they should do. Keep it real and growing.

Hi Ravi, I try to keep it authentic every time. I don’t want to say something I don’t believe in just to make a quick buck. I’ll let you know if I tested something out or how it worked for me. I like to keep it real and simple at my blog.
I’m starting to consider myself a professional blogger but it’s been 6 years in the making. I know I need to work on my aspects of mine going forward.

Not sure how long you’ve been blogging Ravi, but you’ve just hit a point that most of us who’ve blogged for a long time hit at least once. We look at the things other people are putting out and wonder two things: one, why their posts seem so fake while ours feel so real; two, how are those people making money writing posts that we feel aren’t real yet making money off them… and lots of it.
For the most part I’ve gone past that feeling. I figure that I can only be me, and I stick to that routine. Every once in a while I’ll call out a post because there’s nothing original about it or it’s totally incorrect with every point they’re trying to make. Overall though, I’m good with however other people feel they need to write, as long as they’re somewhat creative and not doing any harm. And if they’re doing harm I realize there’s little I can do about it.

In the past few years, blogging has evolved so much but bloggers have created new ways to manipulate others. The originality of an article doesn’t seem as a priority.
It happens all the time. How do people get the courage to speak so many lies just to make a few pennies? What can’t they be real like us?

Remarkable post Ravi… Authenticity is the way to go. As Lisa and Cori points out, one has to be authentic in his or her writing. The fact is – you can’t give somebody something you don’t own. To give somebody something, you must acquire it before you give it out. This simply means that you have to acquire knowledge about blogging in-order before you can create authentic blog posts. When acquire knowledge, you get the facts, and all that’s necessary to be authentic. Thanks for sharing.
